This year, the annual Discovering Dalmatia conference will take place virtually, over the course of three days (3 – 5 December 2020).

The Journal of the Institute of Art History (Radovi Instituta za povijest umjetnosti) has been selected for the Web of Science – Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).

Institute of Art History is very proud to announce its participation in an international cooperation project financed by the European Union (Creative Europe programme, Culture sub-programme).

The presentation of the two recently published conference proceedings "Discovering Dalmatia: Dalmatia in Travelogues, Images, and Photographs" (edited by Katrina O’Loughlin, Ana Šverko and Elke Katharina Wittich) & "The Doors of Andrija Buvina in Split Cathedral: 1214-2014" (edited by Joško Belamarić and Guido Tigler) will be held at the Museum of Arts and Crafts (Trg Republike Hrvatske 10, Zagreb), on Thursday, 8 October, at 6 pm.

Call for papers for an international conference of academics and professionals organized as part of a week of events in scholarship and research Discovering Dalmatia VI.

Lectures within Getty seminar on Gender Politics and Arts will be held at the Center for Women's Studies on Wednesday, January 22.

Ljiljana Kolešnik and Sanja Horvatinčić are part of the seminar under program Connecting Art Histories led by Getty Foundation.

Exhibition will remain open from 29 October do 24 November 2019 at the Museum of Arts and Crafts.

Seminar is held on 18 – 19 October 2019 in Pula and Vodnjan.

Conferene will be held on 4th and 5th November 2019 at SRCE – University of Zagreb, University Computing Centre (Josipa Marohnića 5, Zagreb).

The editorial board invites all interested authors to submit scientific papers for publishing in the journal Život umjetnosti (106-2020).
