Sitting on the Fence: Avant-garde Art out of the Borderlands

Sanja Sekelj, PhD, and Petar Prelog, PhD, presented a paper titled "Borderland as a Zone of Friction: Ljubomir Micić’s Avant-Garde Strategies and His Egocentric Network" at the international scientific conference Sitting on the Fence: Avant-garde Art out of the Borderlands. The event was held at the Institut für die Erforschung der Habsburgermonarchie und des Balkanraumes – Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften (ÖAW) in Vienna on October 1–2, 2026.
