Heritage from Below at Western University, Canada
Sanja Horvatinčić was the invited speaker at the conference “Community-Based Approaches to Mapping Memory”, held 23–25 September 2026 at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada, organised by the Mapping & Memory Research Group.
The project “Heritage from Below | Drežnica: Traces and Memories 1941-1945” was one of the three featured keynote project at the conference. The presentation was focused on the community-based documentation and digital mapping methods. Sanja Horvatinčić presented the topic together with the project collaborators Andrea Čeko (Architectural Faculty Zagreb) and Sara Simões (UNIARQ – Centro de Arqueologia da Universidade de Lisboa, Lisbon).
