Research Stay in Belgrade

Frano Petar Zovko stayed in Belgrade from 31 May to 5 June 2026, where he conducted research at the Archives of Yugoslavia and the National Library of Serbia.

The purpose of the visit was to collect archival materials, publications, and periodicals related to housing construction in socialist Yugoslavia, with a particular focus on individual housing construction and the period from 1946 to 1956.

The research was carried out as part of the ERC project Housing.Yu – “Right to Housing”: the Production of Spaces of Everyday Life in Yugoslavia (1945-1991).
