Art and Inequality in the Post-Black Death Century

Dr. Matko Marušić is an associated researcher in the project “Art and Inequality in the Century after the Black Death”, which is being conducted at the University of Glasgow under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Cohn with the support of ERC – UKRI. During 2025 and 2026, several thousand wills from the State Archives in Dubrovnik, originated between the end of the 13th and the beginning of the 16th centuries, will be analyzed. In July 2026, a presentation is planned at one of the project sessions as part of the International Medieval Congress in Leeds.
