Participation through Prayer in the Late Medieval and Early Modern World

The institute is hosting the first regular meeting of the COST action PRAYTICIPATE – Participation through Prayer in the Late Medieval and Early Modern World (CA23143). The two-day meeting in Zagreb (February 6 and 7) will be attended live by 43 researchers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Cyprus, Croatia, France, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Greece, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Hungary and Spain. Dozens of members from all over Europe will join the event online.

The local organisers of the event are Croatian members of the management board of the action, Matko Marušić (Institute for the History of Art) and Maja Matasović (Croatian Studies). The leader of the action is Youri Desplenter (Ghent University).
